The Los Angeles Art District is undergoing a process of transformation and revitalization despite a stubborn vacancy rate in Downtown's legacy skyscrapers on Bunker Hill. With a variety of name brand tenants taking space in vintage warehouses and ground-up developments, the neighborhood made waves with the news in late 2016 that Warner Music Group would relocate its West Coast headquarters to a 250,000-square-foot space at a former Ford Factory at 7th Street and Santa Fe Avenue.  Other companies such as Spotify - which is reportedly taking space at the At Mateo development - and Lyft have added to the neighborhood's momentum.

Located near the LA river revitalization zone, the Sixth Street Viaduct, the complex of ProduceLA blends in the neighborhood of Art District and strengthens connections between various surrounding programs such as industrial warehouses, retail stores, apartments and offices. The 116,000-square-foot project calls for replacing an existing cold storage facility with a structure featuring offices above ground-level retail and restaurant space. The proposed development would also include a standalone parking structure for up to 276 vehicles that would be operated with mechanical stackers....
